Quality Control Manager

We are currently looking for a Quality Control Manager to take on the role of ensuring that all aspects of our production conform to our high standards. Quality Control experience in the eyelet industry and/or metal manufacturing experience is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing our quality department employees (quality supervisors, in-process inspectors, inspectors/operators, and final inspection).

  • Maintain quality documents, including Quality Manual, SOP’s and Quality Work Instructions.

  • ISO 9001 duties include internal audit scheduling, management review, approved vendor lists, coordination of corrective and preventive actions, and monthly updates of management metrics. Work with ISO registrar to schedule audits and follow up on needed actions.

  • Work closely with engineering to ensure quality requirements can be met when new jobs are quoted. Review and approve raw material specifications.

  • Work with customers on quality-related issues.

  • Verify PPAP’s are complete for our automotive customers. Including APQP, process flow and control plans, FMEA, gauge studies, and statistical studies.

  • Verify AS9102 first articles are completed for aerospace customers.

  • Verify IQ,OQ,PQ studies are completed as planned for our medical customers.

  • Work with suppliers for vendor approval and quality issues.

Eyelet Toolmaker

The Carby Corporation is looking for experienced Eyelet Toolmakers. Individuals must be proficient in both maintenance and development of close tolerance components.

Requirements and Qualifications:

· Proficient in maintenance, setup, and development of new and existing tooling

· Completion of the State of Connecticut approved apprenticeship program

Machine Operator

We're looking for experienced machine operators to join our team!

Minimum of three year's experience required in machine operating. Experience in eyelet machine operating is a plus.

Responsible, dependable people needed.

Required experience includes the ability to use a micrometer, gauges, and knowledge of blueprint reading.
