Hoods and Shrouds
Our hood components are called a variety of names in various industries and are sometimes known as shrouds, sleeves, tubes, and socket contacts. They are used in a wide variety of industries such as automotive, connector, electric, electronic, aerospace, military, and commercial industries and are engineered for federal, military, commercial, and industrial applications.
We have tooled hundreds of different sizes, materials, and configurations and are primarily manufactured out of stainless steel and supplied passivated. However, other materials are used in the manufacturing of hoods, including brass, bronze, beryllium copper, and monel.
